An Evening with an Icon... Diane von Furstenberg

Last week, my girl, Dana, called me with some fabulous news... our favorite designer ever, Diane von Furstenberg, would be at Neiman Marcus showing her 2010 Resort Collection. I immediately called to put my mother and I on the list. There was NO way I was going to miss the chance to meet her! My mom and I have been wearing her dresses for years and refuse to let ANY of them go. They are classics and like DVF said herself, "friends". I had a fabulous time - cocktails, hors'douvers and beautiful clothes! I also ran into my girl, Natalie, a fellow DVF-fanatic... and awesome writer. (Make sure you pick up her book, Deconstructing Tyrone)

Weekend with the crew...

So almost all of the crew was in town last weekend for Autumn & Brian's Baby Shower that I missed because I was in LA. Sorry Ari!!! :( But I did get a chance to hang with them all on Friday night at the Solemates event which was a blast... recap to follow. I love these crazy folks! This is us at Club Hacienda! LOL

Joy Rich @ Freak City LA

While in LA, I had a chance to hit up the Freak City event and sample sale... and met Tom from Joy Rich. Very cool dude and very cool line. I picked up 2 bags and a cute, fitted varsity jacket. I'll post pics of the products soon. Thanks for the deals, Tom!
